Johannesburg – Former Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will deliver the keynote address at the 4th Annual SAIGA Conference on 12-13 September.

The conference, to be directed by TV presenter and commentator Dr JJ Tabane, will take place at Emperors Palace.

This event marks Zondo’s first public appearance since retiring as South Africa’s Chief Justice. He will be joined by a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Sars Commissioner Edward Kieswetter, Unisa Vice-Chancellor Puleng LenkaBula, Accountant General Shabeer Khan, former SA Statistician General Pali Lehohla, Risk Insight Executive Director Anushka Bogdanov, IRBA CEO Imray Nagy, and Linda Maqoma, President of the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA).

Themed “Navigating Change and Innovation for a Sustainable South Africa,” this year’s conference aims to foster thought leadership and discussions among professionals, policymakers, academics, and students about how the accountancy industry is adapting to the fourth industrial revolution.

Panel discussions will feature prominent industry professionals such as Ekurhuleni Group Audit Executive Phillip Rakgwale, Audit Standards Board CEO Jeanine Poggiolini, FASSET CEO Ayanda Mafuleka, Public Sector Audit Committee chairpersons George Higgins and Thato Mahlamvu, and other experts including Fraud and Forensics expert Kgothatso Maoko, JT29 Managing Director Jeremiah Tshikundamalema, MTN Head of Information Security Mankoana Nhlebela, and Good Governance Africa CEO Patrick Kulati.

JJ Tabane, known for his insightful and engaging presentation style, will guide the conference proceedings, ensuring a compelling experience for all attendees.
