SAIGA confirmation to its members. Registered Government Auditor (RGA) is a professional designation which originates from the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA) registered under the jurisdiction of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

The RGA designation is equivalent to an NQF Level 8 and registered with SAQA under SAQA Designation ID 446. Individuals who holds the designation currently only receive SAIGA designation certificate. To maintain the RGA designation, a member must submit 20 CPD hours, payment of annual SAIGA fees.
